Diaper Nirvana

We are Pampers people. After trying several brands and non-brands of diapers, we have discovered that Pampers work best for our Ladybug. And Pampers help me achieve Diaper Nirvana. Never heard of it? Let me 'splain.

I tend to have a few obsessive-compulsive tendancies. One is matching the cute Sesame Street characters found on the front side of the Pampers. Next to the changing table, there is a chair with a basket of diapers (so I don't have to bend!). I usually make two stacks of diapers in the basket, sometimes three, depending on how big of a diaper package I'm opening. My OCD goal is to have the characters on the diapers all match. Elmo to Elmo. Big Bird to Big Bird. And if the stacks get out of whack, I cannot achieve Diaper Nirvana.

All is right in my world when Diaper Nirvana is obtained. The poop isn't as smelly, the Siamese isn't as whiny, and the crumbs that my brother in law leaves on the TV room floor don't bother me (much).

This is NOT a paid advertisement. Just one quirky mom sharing her OCD tendancies.

  1. LOL! It's so reassuring to know that I am not the only OCD mama out there! The daycare teachers still laugh at me because Baby's drool bibs ALWAYS need to match his outfit.

That might explain why we own over 30 bibs...
