I am a total believer in Random Acts of Kindness. To see the look on faces when you act kindly toward them, sometimes it's like you have 3 heads! I love to perform random acts of kindness, yet rarely am I the recepient of one. Today was different.
Ladybug and I had to run some errands, the last of which was the grocery store. It was right before lunchtime, so there weren't a lot of people there. Ladybug was strapped in the seat of the grocery cart, and we were leaving the store.
In the parking lot, I saw a dad with a child unloading his groceries into his vehicle. He had the cute grocery cart that is a race car in the front. I saw another dad with a child approaching the first dad. I assumed he wanted that race car shopping cart for his kid. He did.
I started to load my bags into the back of my vehicle, and the second dad was approaching me. He already had the the cute cart, so I didn't know why he would be coming my direction. He offered to take my cart back to the store!!! So I unstrapped Ladybug, took off the seat cover (the one that I made!), and was almost too stunned to say "thank you."
Wow, there are still nice people in the world! So, thank you, Mr. Nice Dad in the Grocery Store Parking Lot, for offering to take my cart while you were pushing one with your child in it. You made my day!

How nice! I love that there are still stories of good and kindness in the world. Too often it feels like the world is going - well, quite frankly - to hell. So I am glad that you shared this!
