Do you have pet peeves? I'll tell you one of mine.
It's that space on a pizza where the toppings meet the crust. I like that space to be covered with cheese. But a lot of take out pizzas have sauce without cheese covering it. I call this the No-Cheese Zone. And I don't like it.
Just thought you'd like to know.
What is one of your pet peeves?

ONE of my pet peeves? Just one? Hmm. Hard to decide which one to share.
ReplyDeleteOK, one of my biggest frustrations is when someone is driving in front of me just barely slower than I want to be going, especially if I can't get around them. I don't know why that 2 or 3 mph makes such a difference, but it does.
Oh, Heather...I have SO many pet peeves! :) I can't even narrow it down to share just one or two. LOL I actually like the no-cheese zone. When I was eating dairy free last year, that was the closest I got to having pizza.
ReplyDeleteRight now, my most recently flared up pet peeve is when someone doesn't listen to me. Even saying "I told you so" doesn't soothe my irritation.
My biggest pet peeve of the week took place today: We took String Bean to the mall and let her play in the kids area. There is a maximum height posted. I don't care much if taller kids are in there as long as they respect the fact that there are infants and toddlers playing. Well, today there was no such respect. The parents were NOT watching their bigger kids who were jumping from piece of equipment to piece of equipment, jumping over the small kids, and yelling loudly. Grr. I called security thinking to myself "surely their parents must be shopping in a store nearby and not watching them." When security arrived, I soon found out all the parents were in the general area of the play area, most were aware their kids were taller than the max height, and they just said to their kids who'd been kicked out, "yeah, I know you were too tall, I guess we gotta go." WHAT?! My favorite was the dad with his two kids (approx ages 10 and 8) who proceeded to argue with the security guy who kicked his kids out for being too tall.
ReplyDeleteMy pet peeve? Parents to ignore the rules to make life easier for them and have no regard for the other kids at the play area.
Boy was the play area nice when those big kids were gone (and safe for String Bean, too)!
Hmm..one..this will be hard to decide..
ReplyDeleteThe word..peopleS (isn't it already pluralized?) and personS (hence the word people).
let me know when we can add more... :)
I love cheese, so I share your disdain for the no cheese zone! :)
