My Name is Heather, and I'm a Lostaholic

Yes, it's true. I don't blog about my obsession with the hit TV show, but it is exactly that... an obsession. I am sorry that I have been keeping this from you. Now you know.

EverdayMOM does a weekly recap post, and today she posted about her obsession with Lost. Sometimes I feel that my comments on the blogs of Others are much better than my own blog posts. So I am sharing my comment to her obsession post...

"Oh, girlfriend! I totally agree that LOST is THE TV event of the millennium! Nothing else will ever come close to it! We don't have tv anymore, so as soon as I get up Thursday morning, I am checking to see if the episode is available online. I watch it, then Hubby watches. unfortunately, he's not quite as obsessed as I am. I'll forgive him for that. i spend most of Thursday scouring message boards and blog posts, rewatching scenes if i missed something. Simply said, I LOVE LOST!!!!!!! (Sorry for shouting, but I think you understand the emotion behind that last statement.) After season 6, we can still have our book clubs, and I'm sure there will be an aspiring screen writer or two who will post their own scripts of future Lost episodes, in hopes that their work will be noticed. (We can all laugh, because NOTHING will ever be this good, again. EVER.)"

So there you have it. I have confessed to my obsession with Lost. I am addicted to Lost, I admit it, and I am no longer ashamed. Oh, and did you know that Jorge Garcia, who plays Hurley, has a blog? It's awesome!

  2. Hello. My name is Mandie and I am a Lostoholic.

I love your proper capitalization of the word "Others". Brilliant. Subtle, but brilliant nevertheless. Only a true fan would come up with that (and only a true fan would notice).

  3. We are total addicts too. I have to have Hubby recap certain things for me at least twice an episode 'cuz I get confused sometimes. But I am SO intrigued!! This whole past/present/future stuff is wild. And I love the whole Sawyer and Juliette story. We have been saying that once it is all done, we will have to take a long weekend and ship the kids off and watch the whole thing start to finish. Now that is insanity!!! :)

  6. Ahhh... Didn't it feel good to just come clean!? I know some people don't understand why our clothes are so mismatched on Thursdays... why our eyes look so buggy and our hair isn't washed. They just don't understand the WORK that goes into our Thursday morning research. We have new theories to study! Blogs on which to comment! Physics problems to solve. It's not easy. But maybe if we stick together we can make it to the end of Season 6 without letting our homes fall apart completely.
