WW - My Girl

Ladybug (22 months) and I had an impromptu photo session last week. The weather was beautiful, we were playing outside and sat down on the porch to take a break. Isn't she beautiful? (Yes, that's another bruise on her face. She fell against the bed when trying to get up in the wee hours of the morning. I love the room darkening curtains that we bought, but the drawback is that it is VERY DARK! I know, that's what they're supposed to do.)

  3. She's cute.

I fell out of bed when I was about her age and hit a nightstand on the way down. After the bruise faded I had a permanent dimple in my cheek. It draws a lot of attention but no one ever believes my story.

  7. She is so cute! They grow so fast don't they?

Shiloh's so clumsy. She falls all the time. I swear she can't walk five steps without falling. I think I'm signing her up for dance classes when she turns three. First because she loves music and dancing, and second because maybe it will help with the clumsiness.

  9. That is a big bruise. This happened quite a number of times to one of my twin nephews when he was learning to walk. He started to run about just a short after he learned to walk. The results? He fell down a few times flat on the floor; we were so worried because on one of these occasions, he had a 'bun' almost the size of a ping pong ball on his forehead. Now when I think back, I am glad that he is alright. Perhaps, there was a purpose to all that falling; that he learned to pick himself up whenever he fell down.
