A Rose By Any Other Name

Believe it or not, I do not have any new pictures of Ladybug to share this week. It isn't because we haven't taken pictures, trust me. It's just that she is in the stage of wanting to run around "nay"-kid. So the pictures from this past week are not something that I want to post on the internet. Although her version of "nay"-kid is with diaper, I'm not comfortable sharing those here.

So instead, I am sharing pictures of my roses! I am really enjoying my garden this year. My roses bloomed just in time for Mother's Day. Wish we had smell-ernet so that you indulge in this amazingly fragrant rose. But instead you'll have to use your imagination! Enjoy!

  1. Your roses look great!! And running around in the buff is some kind of developmental thing, I think. Wendy would rather be "free" all the time, too, & just run around in her training pants.

  2. Your roses are so pretty. My mother always has good luck with roses. Me, not so much. I finally received 2 from my DH and threw them into the ground, hoping for the best. So far, so good. Oh, and my kids used to love running around nay-kid (snicker) too. They're 15, 13, 10 and 7 now and would probably hate that I just admitted they did anything, nay-kid :)

  4. What is with the no-clothes stage?! Esme is in one, too. Though if I let her pick her own clothes entirely, that helps - like jammies all day.

But the rose photos are gorgeous!

  7. Are those your "Susie Rose Bushes?" Or was it your whole garden that you planted in her honor? I can't remember. Either way, beautiful flowers!
