Birthday Girl

Sunday was Ladybug's 2nd birthday. We had family over for some fun, good food, cake, and presents. I didn't get as many pictures as I would like due to 1) LB jumping in the wading pool with her clothes while Hubby was "in charge;" 2) a regular (non-swim) diaper exploding due to #1; 3) trying to keep LB from falling too much on the slip-n-slide; 4) then having to wrangle a wet toddler into the house and into dry clothes so that we could eat dinner; and 5) trying to keep said toddler inside the house when she wanted to play in the water.

Anyway, here are a few pictures that I did get.

  11. Happy Birthday, Ladybug! Sounds like a fun day! (At least for LB, hopefully for Mommy too!)
    The cake turned out super-cute! How did you do the wings and stinger?
    That is a VERY cool pool! We may have to break down and get a new one this year since one "ring" our inflatable wading pool has an unfindable hole in it! :O

  14. Oh my, that cake is a-freaking-dorable! It won't be long until it's birthday season in our house. I may try that one, if I can figure out black dye that doesn't have red #40.
