Rest from your Labors

Then Jesus said, " Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light."
Matthew 11:28-30

Whether you realize it or not, you are looking for rest for your soul. Jesus offers that rest. He offers rest from the daily, unfulfilling grind. Do you constantly chase after the "next greatest thing," in hopes that it will make you happy? Jesus is the only One who can truly make you happy and release you from that rat race.

Happy Labor Day to everyone. If you truly want to rest from your labors, turn to Jesus. He offers a trade. You give your burdens to Him, and He will give you the rest for which you are looking.
