Strength

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

This weekend was a bit of a test of my mental strength. I had to be strong when I didn't want to and when I felt that I had not an ounce of strength left in me.

What do you do when you are faced with that typed of situation? Hopefully, turn to the One who can give you strength. Turn to the One who can be strong for you.

I memorized Philippians 4:13 when I was in high school. I remember that it was on a poster in our youth Sunday school room. I know you cannot learn anything by osmosis, but I do know that I sat in that room countless times and read that poster over and over.

And there have been countless times when I needed to be reminded of the truth in that verse. That's a great thing about learning and memorizing Scripture. It's in your mind, ready when you need it.

What do you need today? I'll bet there is a verse in the Bible that speaks to the situation that you are in. Search God's Word for a verse that you can learn and memorize and hide in your heart.
