Photo Story Friday

Last week, we made a quick trip to Virginia so that Hubby could take his final, final exam for his graduate degree. It was good family time, and we even survived a six hour road trip without a DVD player for Ladybug (2.5 years old). Yes, it CAN be done!

Two highlights from the trip: lunch with Heather from Desperately Seeking Sanity and her daughter, and SNOW! There wasn't much snow left, but just down the hill from our hotel was a field on a north-facing slope and there was some clean snow left. Ladybug loved it! It was cold and wet, and I think that surprised her, but she loved it! I'm afraid that every time we go to a hotel, she'll expect to find snow now.

Fun in the snow!

  7. Cute pictures. We don't get snow here so my poor child doesn't know what it is. We could drive to it but then we would have to drive back and I am not sure it can be done without the DVD player.

  8. Ok, so you've resorted to begging for comment love on Twitter now? :)

I love that you got to eat with Heather. She's one of my favorite peeps :) And Thing 2 looks so grown since the last time I saw her! Glad ya'll got to enjoy some snow. I prefer to stay warm, dry and inside :D Unless it's softball season -- then I'll just take warm outside!
