Saturday Stumbles, December Edition

Time again for sharing some great links that I've discovered recently.

First, I'd like to welcome a new sponsor to my humble blog, Sunny Dogs Training Company.  This is a local-to-me business, but she also posts tips and ideas for working with your canine pet.  Please give her some clicky love.

I was very excited to learn that iDreamofClean will be sharing healthy recipes with Once a Month Mom and her readers for cooking ahead and freezing meals. Yay!

Because kids are not all the same size, I often find it frustrating to buy clothes for Ladybug (3.5 years old) that actually fit her.  So I am pulling long dormant memories of Home-Ec class (yes, we had that) on hemming and other sewing skills.  Jenn from Frugal Upstate shared a tutorial on how to make an elastic waistband in pants.  Wonderful!

With the weather being at times uncooperative for getting a good run in, I have been looking for ways to get some cardio in without freezing my tail off or getting drenched in wintry rain.  Sunny shared a post on The Untrained Housewife and gave great ideas for getting a cardio workout at home without any equipment.

Although I try to make most of our snacks and meals of the healthy variety, I do enjoy a treat once in a while.  I remember these awesome Peanut Butter Cup Bars that the lunch ladies at my elementary school would make.  Rachel at According to Rachel shared a similar recipe. I hope they taste as good as I remember!

Did you know that you can make your own mozzarella cheese at home?  I would love to try it sometime, and Modern Alternative Mama shared a tutorial that I can't wait to try.
